Joel Embiid has still never played in an actual NBA game two years after being taken third overall by the Philadelphia 76ers.
But he's arm-wrestled Justin Bieber.
And though Friday night's Hollywood hijinks (Embiid won, by the way) might not do anything to get Sixers fans worked up for his eventual (we assume) NBA debut, this video of Embiid working on his spin move and dunking on a trainer got some tongues wagging back in Philly.
Bear in mind, Embiid has at least a foot on both Bieber and Drew Hanlen, the trainer in the video.
And also bear in mind that Embiid followed up both of those with an Instagram tribute to recently fired GM Sam Hinkie, calling him The GOAT and using the hashtags #HeDiedForOurSins and #TrustTheProcess.
Embiid, who has dealt with an injury to his right foot for the past two seasons, joined the team's Summer League squad as a spectator and reportedly got in some work in 5-on-5 scrimmages last month.
Now we just need to see him on the floor in a real NBA game.
