These Boots Were Made For Walking

I'm a shoe fanatic. A hoarder of footwear. A sole savour. However I've never actually only any long boots before. The truth is they are just so hard to get right. It feels like searching for The One- and we all know how hard that is!

The problem I find is that knee high boots can be just too baggy round the calves on me and they do that horrible sagging thing when you start to walk. Tres uncool.

But oh good news, a new addition to the family has arrived, and they are a perfect fit.

What makes these different? They are measured to my calf size. No this isn't some super expensive made to measure service though, Duo Boots just do calf sizes as well as foot sizes, so whip out that tape measure from that sewing kit you promised yourself you would use, do a quick circle round your calf, and bobs your uncle, boots that fit like a glove.

I am loving jewel tones at the moment, so I picked these gorgeous aubergine colour and styled them with golds and garnets for what I felt is rather a Christmas-y palette. Well we are on the home straight now!

So with that in mind, maybe its time to start leaving out the strategically placed catalogues- well we all know a certain gender need a little helping hand with these matters ;)
