The Pope has turned down lunch with members of Congress to dine with 300 homeless people this Thursday in Washington D.C.

Besides, the 78-year-old Roman Catholic leader was reportedly not only eating with the most vulnerable members of society, but serving them. The dinner was served in a tent set up outside St Patrick Catholic Church and held by charity organizations.
