Drake's Take Care Second Week Sales Projections

Second week sales projections of Drake's Take Care album is out, and it is not doing badly compared to other albums that have dropped this year. Take Care is projected to sell between 210-225k copies in its second week on the chart. I think that is cool, if you consider it with the other albums that have dropped this year. Most albums drop 75%, and this is just about a 60% drop in sales.

I also predicted that the album sales of Take Care would have a better staying power compared to Lil Wayne's Carter 4. Carter 4 sold 964,000 copies first week, and dropped to 219,000 copies second week. Drake's Take Care album sold 631,000 copies first week, and is expected to sell between 210-225k. It is going to sell just about the same thing that Carter 4 sold in its second week.

Below is the breakdown-

This holiday season, it appears Michael Buble's Christmas album is the gift that keeps on giving. Based on one-day sales, the Reprise recording artist's year-end collection looks to be the big winner coming out of Black Friday, with an estimate of 250-275k. Roadrunner's Nickelback win the battle of the newcomers, with its seventh studio album, Here and Now, which is looking to be in the 210-225k range. Last week's chartopper, YM/CM/Universal Republic's Drake, drops to #3 with an estimated 190-215k, bringing its two-week total to around 860k. (HITS Daily Double)
