Yesterday was a busy, but very enjoyable day. I went out with my niece and daughter for coffee. Having discovered that the Tesco cafe did not do gluten free, we all trooped out in the wind and the rain to M&S cafe, where, my niece assured me it was great. Not so great as when we got there as it was closed! Out we went to the Coffee place and it was only doing takeaway! Back out into the wind and the rain and my daughter said "Let's go to Frankie and Bennys" - it was closed, I kid you not! The cinema had Starbucks, but we found you had to have a Covid passport, next door was a pizza place and the manager let us come in 20 minutes before opening time :) I had a lovely gluten free pizza and we had a lovely time chatting.

Christmas done and posted, I am making two Christmas books/journals and a Christmas ornament. The ornament is a Hunkdory decoupage set set on a wooden circular frame. I used gold paint for the frame which, after a week, is still tacky. So I used some sandpaper to remove most of the tackiness. The paint was very old so maybe that was the reason. More work to be done on that frame, I put the decoupage on for the photograph.
